Full Time Care Manager
WORKING HOURS: 40hrs/week on shift rota (Mon-Fri including weekends)
WAGES: £26,000-£26,500 /per Annual
SOC CODE: 1242- (Residential ,Day and Domiciliary Care Managers and Proprietors)
As a care manager, you’ll be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operations within the care setting, including recruiting and managing staff, managing budgets, and ensuring that the quality of the services provided meets CQC standards. You will be required to plan, organise, direct and co-ordinate the resources necessary in the provision and running of care services for persons who require specialised care and/or supervision.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To ensure the delivery of quality, person-centred care and plan work schedules, assign task and delegates responsibilities to staff.
- To manage budgets and the financial effectiveness of the setting
- Responsible to recruit, train and supervise care staff, volunteer and other staff working for Mythre Care Providers
- Arrange, organise staff meetings and deliver training to staff, making sure that all relevant trainings are up to date.
- Responsible to oversees, manager and take on a visible leadership role
- To maintain quality standards and ensure health and safety compliance
- Responsible to liaise with and maintain partnerships with other local community organisations
- To ensure any regulatory activity, such as personal care and administering medicines, is delivered within regulations
- To provide information, advice and support to residents’ families
- To organise activities for residents and actively promote their
- To Oversee every aspect of care and support of service users including developing and updating care plans and maintaining clear, accurate medication

- Responsible to creating and developing strong relationships with key partners in the community and play an important role in strengthening the Saracen Care name and raising the company’s profile.
- Responsible to undertake and contribute, as required in the multi-disciplinary assessment of service user needs and the subsequent planning of Service User’s
- Solely responsible to monitor and review service user needs and risks as appropriate, Including preparation and implementation of behaviour guidelines and
- Must Undertake on Call as required to cover out of hours emergencies, attending incidents asnecessary (covering all company services)
- Responsible to promote the Mytlre Care Provider services, foster good public relations and develop a partnership approach between public and private sector organisations.
- Responsible to undertake initial assessments for new packages, preparing Care and Support Plans, risk assessments, behavioural guidelines and protocols as
- Responsible to contribute to tender documentation preparation and presentation, including leadingon new business initiatives or
- To secure and maintain service user contracts. Assist on Pro Contract
- Responsible to Identify potentially unsafe packages providing evidence and guidance tomanagement as
- To maintain effective and efficient business levels in accordance with set targets and objectives.
- Responsible to research and investigate new business opportunities to grow and develop theorganisation and report these to the company directors
- To develop the image and reputation of the organisation in accordance with its objectives
- Responsible to actively demonstrate an awareness of the service and participate in the investigation of cost
PERSONAL SKILLS
- Excellent spoken and written word, including presentations and report

QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE
- Work experience as a Care Manager or supervisory position- Essential
- NVQ4 in Health & Social Care or QCF 5 in Health & Social Care Or working towards-Essential
